Pillow Planet

Every night, millions of children put their heads down on a pillow they think is empty. Bob is about to find out otherwise.

When a tiny squeak comes from inside his pillow, Ink — a small, unimpressed blob of ink from Bob's storybook — shrinks him down to microscopic size. What looks like a plain white cushion turns out to be a world: towering canyons of cotton fibre, falling snow made of skin flakes, and a glowing town inhabited by friendly microbes in every colour.

Bob meets Dustin, a dust mite doing his weekly shop, and learns what dust mites really are — and why they aren't the monsters he feared. He wanders a forest of glowing fungi, referees a boxing match between a pillow and a toilet seat, and follows Ink through a series of doors: into the soil where microbes recycle fallen leaves, into the sea where the oldest living family on Earth makes the air we breathe, and finally into his own tummy.

Told entirely through narration and expressive animation, Pillow Planet is a warm, funny and scientifically accurate journey into the invisible world — designed from the ground up to surround young audiences in the dome.
